About CareMAR

CareMAR was built by an RCFE administrator. The medication records, LIC forms and licensing visits it is built around are the ones an administrator answers for personally, so every screen starts from what a home actually files, not from a hospital system cut down to size.

Licensees, certified administrators and board-and-care owners running one home or a handful of them: RCFEs, Adult Residential Facilities and ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes, each with its own form set and regulations.

• Not a hospital EHR. Every form and workflow is the one a California care home files.
• Not a billing clearinghouse. For the Assisted Living Waiver it prints the UB-04 for you to mail; it does not submit claims electronically.
• Not a compliance guarantee. It keeps the records and shows what a regulation says. Responsibility for the home stays with the licensee, as it must.
